Would you like to play a key role in the compensation & benefits strategy at Hydro Extrusions?

On behalf of Hydro Extrusions, we seek a business and service-minded Director HR Compensation & Benefits. In this role, you will be responsible at Hydro Extrusions (HE) and its business units for developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies and plans for the Business Area. This will include variable pay schemes, in addition to being the owner of mobility and international assignments for our employees at HE.

As Director HR Compensation & Benefits (C&B), you will be part of the Extrusions HR Lead Team located in Norway. In addition, you will engage with more than 200 HR colleges within HR in our 35 countries of operations. You will report to VP People, Communication & Sustainability at Hydro Extrusions.

This will be your key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the global HR compensation and benefits strategies and plans and mobility framework, including that processes and tools are implemented, and ensuring they are in line with Hydro’s framework.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and Hydro’s governance documents within C&B.
  • Responsible for the yearly salary review and variable pay process in HE, in collaboration with Global C&B.
  • Act as a HR business partner for the business unit’s lead teams in cooperation with VP People, Communication & Sustainability.
  • Supporting on the Business Area’s People budget, KPIs and other cost control targets.
  • Accountable for projects and continuous improvement to further embed and optimize C&B programs as well as staying on top of changes in regulation and/or good practice within Compensation & Benefits.
  • Lead the C&B team resources and make sure that the team delivers correct and fast C&B support to foster a high-performance culture.

Who are we looking for?
We believe that our new Director HR Compensation & Benefits is a well-rounded C&B executive with a minimum of four years of experience in a multinational HR management role. During your career, you have gained an excellent Compensation & Benefits knowledge with a global perspective, in addition to solid understanding of international human resources in general. You see yourself as a change agent and have experience in introducing new HR initiatives and practices in both a local and multinational environment. Experience in leading and managing a team of C&B specialists is a plus.

We hope that our new collage is used to working collaboratively and cross-functionally at many levels of the organization and have experience in leading and participating in complex projects in international environments. Experience of employment law in an international context is an advantage. Fluency in English is a requirement, Scandinavian or other language skills are beneficial.

Additional information
Although our head-office is in Oslo you can be based in any European country where we have a presence. Frequent travel to our head-office in Oslo will be required, as well as some travel to our other locations.
